Eleanor H. Walklett, 86, formerly of Pulaski, died Tuesday at the home of her daughter, Christine S. Michaels, Highland, Calif.
Mrs. Walklett worked at Kinney Drugs in Pulaski for 25 years, retiring March 1, 1976.
Born Nov. 8, 1915, in Pulaski, daughter of Roy and Florence Pond Halsey, she graduated from Adams Center High School in 1933.
She married Robert E. Walklett on Oct. 20, 1934, at the Halsey home in Pulaski with the Rev. Cecil Taylor officiating. Mr. Walklett worked at Pulaski Academy and Central School for several years, retiring in 1972. He previously had worked at Black Clawson in Watertown and at Selkirk State Park.
The couple lived in Pulaski for 50 years, moving to Syracuse in 1997. Mr. Walklett died Feb. 7, 2000.
Mrs. Walklett was a member of St. James Episcopal Church and a member of the Order of the Eastern Star.
Surviving besides her daughter is another daughter, Ann N. Schultz, Syracuse; a brother, Allan Halsey, Wolcott; a sister, Doris Benoit, Shelburne, Vt., seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
A son, Robert F. Walklett, died in 1997, and a granddaughter died in 1971.
The funeral will be at 11:30 a.m. Saturday at Foster-Hax Funeral Home. Burial will be in South Richland Cemetery, Fernwood.
Calling hours will be from 10 to 11:30 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
