Newspaper Obituary - Wednesday, April 21, 1909 Pulaski Democrat - Pulaski, New York - Daysville - On Monday occurred the death of Louisa, wife of John Calkins, ages 67 years. In her death our community has lost a kind neighbor and the family a devoted wife and mother. Mrs. Calkins was essentially a home loving woman and those who knew her best learned to love her most. She is survived by a husband, one son, Grant, and two grandchildren, Guy Salisbury and Marie Calkins. The funeral will be held from the residence, Thursday at 2 o'clock. Daysville Grange of which Mrs. Calkins was a member, will attend in a body. The sympathy of the community is extended to the bereaved family.
