Allan L. Barber, 70, of 8100 Centerville Road, died Friday at the Living Leisure Home, Wolcott.
The funeral will be 10 a.m. Monday at the Foster-Hax Funeral Home, with the Rev. Elizabeth Mowry officiating. Burial will be in Maple Lawn Cemetery, Dugway.
Calling hours are 1 to 4 p.m. today at the funeral home, 7385 Park St. Donations may be made to the Altmar Russell Tryon Post 1435, American Legion.
Surviving are his wife, Dorothy; four sons, Thomas R., Parish, David A., Williamstown, Larry S., Pulaski, and Lonnie H., Sabinsville; three daughters, Janet Chabot, Williamstown, Donna Duell, Conneaut, Ohio, and Joanne Mason, Fulton; 26 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Born March 26, 1923, in the town of Albion, he resided in the Pulaski and Altmar areas all his life. He attended Altmar High School and served in the U.S. Army from 1942 to 1945.
Mr. Barber married Dorothy Trumble on Aug. 17, 1947.
He was a truck driver for Pacific Transportation in Syracuse and a member of Teamsters Local 182, Syracuse, for 25 years.
Mr. Barber was a member of Altmar Russell Tryon Post 1435, American Legion.
