WINSTON-SALEM--Lucretia Ann Bailey, 84, died Thursday, Dec. 1, 2016. A funeral service will be held 1 p.m. Friday, Dec. 9, in the chapel of Bright Funeral Home, with the Rev. Gene Wollard officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery in Franklinton.
She was born in Pulaski, N.Y., to the late Leroy Coffie and the late Lelia LaCelle Coffie. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert H. Bailey; a son, Donald G. Buck; a daughter, Deborah Jean Gilbert; and a sister, Reta Brennan.
Surviving: daughter, Lona Elaine Roper; Mr. & Mrs. John Bailey, Mrs. Kate Finley, Michael Bailey; brother, Leroy Coffie; sisters, Millie Mantor and Barbara Layman; 12 grandchildren; and many great-grandchildren.
Friends may visit with the family from 12-1 p.m. Friday, Dec. 9, at Bright Funeral Home, 405 South Main St., Wake Forest.
