- Margaret I. McMorrow, 93, of Ithaca passed away at Cayuga Ridge on Tuesday December 25, 2012. She was the daughter of the late Claude and Mary Jane Warren and was predeceased by four siblings and her husband, John F. McMorrow. Margaret is survived by her sister Minetta Colwell and brother Milton Warren, both of Newport, NC. She is also survived by her children; Connie Sparks of Titusville, FL, Maureen Gunderson of Horseheads, NY, Barry McMorrow of Long Beach, CA, Shelley (Paul) Laue of Trumansburg, NY, Audrey McMorrow of Takoma Park, MD and John K. McMorrow of Horseheads, NY. Six grandchildren; Paul Ryan, Christopher, Tisha, Leann, Keith and Katie Renee. A private family burial will take place Friday, December 28 at the Greensprings Natural Cemetery Preserve in Newfield, followed by a memorial service at 4:00 PM at the Herson Funeral Home on Geneva Street in Ithaca. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Margaret's memory may be made to the Alzheimer's Foundation of America, 322 Eighth Ave., 7th fl., New York, NY 10001.
