      Newspaper Obituary - Wednesday, April 25, 1979 Pulaski Democrat - Pulaski, New York - Donald R. Phelps, 50, of 7556 Forest Drive died Thursday, April 19 at Veterans Administration Hospital, Syracuse. A native of Pulaski, Phelps graduated from Pulaski High School and served with the Army in Korea. He was married to Mary Stopyro, who died in 1959. Phelps worked for the Charles Brown Construction Company in Mannsville and later owned and operated a coffee shop in Pulaski, now the Cedar Post Restaurant. Surviving are his mother, Mrs. Viola Phelps; a son, Donald R., Jr., of Skaneateles; two daughters, Mrs. Donna Fellows of Jamesville and Mrs. Nancy Spencer of Winston-Salem, North Carolina; grandson, Sean Stephen of Jamesville, and several aunts and uncles. Services were April 20 at Foster-Hax Funeral Home, the Rev. Dolen Morris officiating. Burial was in Pulaski Cemetery.
