Newspaper Obituary - Monday, August 15, 1988 Watertown Daily Times - Watertown, New York - Robert Bruce Lodge, 90, of 7393 Lake St., died Sunday morning at the Harwood Nursing Home, Oswego. The funeral will be 10 a.m. Tuesday at the Foster-Flax Funeral Home, with Rev. Earl M. Smith, pastor of Park United Methodist Church, officiating. Burial will be in South Richland Cemetery, Fernwood. Calling hours will be from 7 to 9 p.m. tonight at the funeral home, with members of the Royal Arch Masons meeting for a memorial service at 8 p.m. Memorial donations may be made to Park United Methodist Church. Mr. Lodge is survived by several nieces and nephews. Born in the Town of Richland May 28, 1898, a son of Job and Mary Hutchings Lodge, he was graduated from Pulaski High School in 1915 and from Canton Agricultural and Technical College in 1917. He married Aleta C. Howe in February 1949. She died July 17, 1986. Mr. Lodge was employed as the farm manager for the Douglaston Manor Farms, owned by former state senator H. Douglas Barclay, for many years. He was a member of Park United Methodist Church, the Pulaski Lodge 415 F&AM, the Royal Arch Masons 279 of Pulaski and the Pulaski Grange.
