      Carl A. Youngs, 90, of RD1, Route 3, Mexico died Friday in the Oswego Hospital.

      Mr. Youngs was born in Fernwood and was a life resident of the area. Mr. Youngs owned and operated his own farm until his retirement in 1967. He was a member of the Fernwood Methodist Church, the Pulaski Grange and the R.S.V.P. club. He was sextant of the Daysville Cemetery.

      He is survived by his wife, the former Hazel Reese; his daughter, Allie Proud of Mexico, his grandson, Randell Groves of Mexico; and his sister, Betty Menter of Syracuse.

      Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at the Harter-Olmstead Funeral Home. Rev. Donald Easton will officiate. Spring burial will be in Daysville Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home, 5305 Washington Ave., Mexico.

      Contributions may be made to the Fernwood Methodist Church.
