      It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Arlene Frances Hartless of Madison Heights, Virginia, born in Oswego, New York, who passed away on February 25, 2023, at the age of 56, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

      Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 11th 2023 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Whitten Monelison Chapel (3966 S Amherst Hwy, Madison Heights, VA 24572).

      In lieu of flowers, memorials in Arlene's memory should be made to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital.

      Arlene Frances Hartless, 56 of Madison Heights passed away on Saturday, February 25, 2023.
      She was born in Oswego, New York to Mariel M. Jordal and the late Walter Boutell.

      Arlene was a wonderful cook and enjoyed baking and spending time with her grandkids.

      She was preceded in death by her stepfather, Otto F. Jordal and a special aunt, Claudia Richardson.

      Survivors include her husband, Thomas B. Hartless; one daughter, Toni M. Hartless (Tylor Kelly); two grandchildren, Kasen Kelley and Sage Kelley; three sisters; her mother in law and father in law, Ursula and Harvey Martin; sister in law, Belinda Tomlin and her family as well as the entire Martin family. She is also survived by her favorite niece, Faith Ann Richardson-Reome and family as well as a bunch of family and friends in Virginia and New York and her fur baby, Bubba.

      The family will receive friends from 3-6 pm on Saturday, March 11, 2023 at Whitten Monelison Chapel.

      In lieu of flowers, memorials in Arlene’s memory should be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital
