      Newspaper Obituary - Tuesday, July 18, 1961 The Palladium Times - Oswego, New York - Mexico - Mr. and Mrs. Harry Fish, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Mowry and Miss Lona Kranz attended the burial of Charles H. Lodge of lion, in the Willis cemetery, Saturday afternoon. Mr. Lodge, a former resident of Mexico, living on the McFee farm at North Mexico many years ago, was a veteran of the Spanish-American War. A firing squad from the Pulaski American Legion, and two buglers from Mexico, David Hurlbut and Bruce Tompkins, took part in the service, with the Rev. Calvin P Simmer, pastor of the Mexico Methodist church officiating at the burial. Mr. Lodge died Wednesday night in the Ilion hospital. He was the father of Clifford Lodge of Volney and Mrs. Mildred L. Frey of Syracuse, both having been residents of Mexico, and an uncle of Miss Kranz.
