Hazel L. Youngs, 90, Route 3, died Monday in Oswego Hospital after a long illness.
The funeral will be at 9:30 a.m. Thursday at Harter Funeral Home. Burial will be in Daysville Cemetery.
Calling hours will be from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Donations may be made to Dollars for Scholars, in care of Claire Wandersee, 5743 Spring St., Mexico, or The Oswego Ladies Home, 43 E. Utica St., Oswego.
Surviving are a daughter, Allie Proud, Mexico, and a grandson, Randall Groves, Maple View.
Her husband, Carl Youngs, died in 1991.
Born Aug. 16, 1903, in the town of Richland, she was the daughter of William and Allie Fleming Reese.
Mrs. Youngs was a life resident of the town of Richland.
She was a teacher for many years in Pulaski, Richland and Altmar-Parish-Williamstown Central School, Parish.
Mrs. Youngs was a member of Fernwood United Methodist Church, the New York State Retired Teachers Association, the Oswego State Teachers Alumni Association, the Pulaski Pamona Grange and Pulaski Chapter, Order of the Eastern Star.
