    • Newspaper Obituary - Saturday, February 9, 1946 Utica Daily Press - Utica, New York - Mrs. Arthur M. Schaller - Rome - Mrs. Leila M. Schaller, 51, wife of Arthur M. Schaller, Stanwix, died Feb. 8, 1946, in the Rome Hospital. She had been ill since July. She was born in Rome, the daughter of Frederick and Emma Hughes Tanner. Thirty-two years ago she married Arthur M. Schaller. She was a member of Wesleyan Methodist Church. Surviving are her husband, her father, two daughters, Mrs. Charles Mowers of Stanwix Heights, and Mrs. Raymond Whittman of Stanwix, and five sons, Maxwell, Melvin and Warren, at home, an T/5 Frederick with the U.S. Army in France, and F 1/C Kenneth Schaller in the Pacific with the Navy. The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday in her home in Stanwix.
