      Floyd "Bud" Trumble Jr., 60, passed away Feb. 28, 2012, in Pahrump.

      He was born June 21, 1951, in Altmar, N.Y., and was a resident of Pahrump for 28 years, having come from Las Vegas.

      He was a Vietnam veteran who proudly served in the U.S. Army from 1969 to 1972. He was awarded the Bronze Star, National Defense Service Medal, Army Commendation Medal, Vietnam Service Medal, Republic of Vietnam Campaign Medal with 60 Devices, Sharpshooter Badge for the M-14 Rifle and the Expert Badge for the M-16 Rifle.

      He was a member of the American Quarter Horse Association and he raised various breeds of poultry.

      He was a cement mason and owner of Floyd Trumble Concrete.

      Surviving are his wife Barbara Trumble of Pahrump; sons Eric and Michael Trumble, both of Pahrump; brothers Roger, Larry and Robert Miner, all of South Carolina, Michael Ware of South Carolina and David Miner of Henderson; sisters Sheila Casaus, Nikki Trumble, Vicki Morgan, Luana Tekano and Carole Chancellor, all of New Mexico, and Bonnie Mundy of South Carolina.

      He was preceded in death by his mother Anna Miner; father Floyd Trumble Sr.; brother Kenneth Miner; sister Pamela Daniels and niece Blanca Casaus.

      Services will be at 12:40 p.m., March 8, at the Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Boulder City. (02/28/2012)
