      Marion B. Valley, 89, Springbrook Apartments, died Saturday at Loretto Heights Nursing Home, Oswego.

      A lifetime resident of Pulaski, Mrs. Valley was a nurse at Orwell Tuberculosis Sanatarium for several years. She also was employed by the Pulaski Democrat and the Pulaski Department Store.

      A 25-year resident of Springbrook Apartments, Mrs. Valley coordinated bus trips to many parts of the country for Springbrook residents.

      She was a member of the Pulaski Baptist Church, Daughters of the American Revolution and Order of the Eastern Star Chapter 159, and a past president of the Pulaski Senior Citizens Association.

      Born Feb. 17, 1909, at Pulaski, daughter of Claude and Maude Potter Bonney, she attended Pulaski schools. She married Lawrence W. Valley on June 29, 1927, at her home on South Jefferson Street, with the Rev. Bertram A. Walton, pastor of First Baptist Church, officiating. Mr. Valley, a former state trooper at Malone, Lowville and Trout River, died Dec. 31, 1976.

      Surviving are a son, Norman W., Pulaski; a sister, Jeanette Hollis, Mexico, two grandsons and two great-granddaughters.

      The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Foster-Hax Funeral Home, 52 Park St. Burial will be in Pulaski Cemetery.

      Calling hours will be 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
