Trumble, 92, a resident of Altmar from 1930 until 2004, died Monday at St. Luke's Nursing Home. Norma was born March 13, 1917, in Merrillsville, NY, the daughter of Arthur and Cora Curran Thompson. She attended Altmar School. Norma married Harry Trumble on May 2, 1937; he died June 8, 2004. She and her husband owned and operated a farm for 60 years. Norma loved and cherished her family. She also loved baseball and reading Guide Post and doing crossword puzzles. She loved the outdoors and hunting and trapping. Surviving: one daughter, Irene (Raymond) Pappa of Pulaski; one son, Paul Trumble of Redfield; nine grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren. Funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Friday at Foster-Hax Funeral Home, 52 Park Street, Pulaski, with a spring burial in Riverside Cemetery, Altmar. Calling hours will be 3 to 6 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
