- RICHLAND RESIDENT DOROTHY M. GIBBS DIES

Dorothy M. Gibbs, 65, Peck Road, died Thursday evening at Andrew Michaud Nursing Home, Fulton.
The funeral will be at 2:30 p.m. Monday at Foster-Hax Funeral Home, Pulaski, with the Rev. Elizabeth Mowry officiating. Burial will be in Pulaski Cemetery.
Calling hours are 12:30 to 2:30 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
Surviving are her husband, Lewis P., Richland; two daughters, Nancy L. Bice, Pulaski, and Ella M. Gibbs, Richland; her mother, Blanch Snyder, Boylston; three sisters, Patricia Goslin, Florida, and Elizabeth Snyder and Joan Stacy, both of Boylston; five grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
Born Sept. 11, 1929, in Pittsfield, Mass., a daughter of Frank and Blanch Brockway Snyder, she graduated from Sandy Creek High School in 1947.
She married Lewis Gibbs on July 6, 1949.
Mr. and Mrs. Gibbs have resided in Richland for 46 years and had lived previously in Boylston.
She was a member and past president of the Robert Edwards American Legion Post 358, Pulaski, and a member of the Richland Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary.
