Mildred A. Lake, 77, Springbrook Apartments, died Friday at St. Joseph's Hospital Health Center, Syracuse.
Mrs. Lake was a homemaker. She lived in Orwell from 1940 to 1945 and from 1962 to 1992 and in the Pulaski-Sandy Creek area from 1945 to 1962. She moved to Pulaski in 1992.
She attended Pilgrim Holiness Church, Pierrepont Manor.
Born Jan. 30, 1922, in Hamblin, W.Va., daughter of Louis and Bessie DeWitt Frye, she attended school at Indianhead, Md.
She married Louis H. Lake on July 15, 1940. Mr. Lake, an Oswego County Highway Department retiree, died Nov. 17, 1984.
Surviving are three sons, Robert L., Whitesboro, James E., Richland, and David E., Orwell; a daughter, Gloria Towles, Orwell; a brother, James R. Frye, Barboursville, W.Va., seven grandchildren and a great-grandson.
The funeral will be at 7 p.m. Tuesday at Foster-Hax Funeral Home with the Rev. Warren Babcock officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Orwell.

Her husband, Louis, died in 1984.

Services: 7 p.m. Tuesday at Foster-Hax Funeral Home. Burial, Evergreen Cemetery, Orwell. Calling hours, 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home, 52 Park St., Pulaski.
