- August 13, 1904 ~ Olin I. Clark, age 63 years, 4 months, 8 days, Married, Farmer, born in Richland, New York, Son of Lewis Clark born in New York, and Harriet Clark, Died in Richland of organic disease of the heart.
Newspaper Obituary - Wednesday, August 17, 1904 Pulaski Democrat - Pulaski, New York - Meacham District - After a short illness, Olin S. Clark died at his home Saturday fore-noon, aged 62 years. Besides his widow he leaves two daughters, Mrs. Arthur Lindsey, of Washington, D. C., and Mrs. David Weeden, of Dexter. Mr. Clark was a member of the First Methodist church, also of Pulaski Lodge No. 415, F. and A. M. and of South Richland Grange, Patrons of Husbandry. Deceased was a veteran of the Civil War, having been attached to the fourteenth New York Heavy Artillery and a member of J. B. Butler Post No. 111, G. A. R. Funeral services were held at the family home at 2 o'clock yesterday afternoon. Pulaski Lodge was in charge.
Newspaper Obituary - Wednesday, August 17, 1904 Pulaski Democrat - Pulaski, New York - Olin S. Clark - The funeral of Olin S. Clark, which was held at his late home near this village was largely attended. Rev. B. Deforest Snyder, pastor of the Methodist church of this village officiated. The floral tributes were numerous and handsome, almost completely hiding the casket from view. Deceased was a member of J. B. Butler Post No. 111, G. A. R. of Pulaski, and South Richland Grange, Patrons of Husbandry and members of the two organizations attended the obsequies. He was also a member of Pulaski Lodge No. 415, F. & A. M., and a delegation from that lodge attended in a body, the ritualistic burial services at the grave being conducted by Right Worshipful Oron V. Davis of Pulaski. Interment in Pulaski cemetery, the pallbearers the members of Pulaski Lodge and included Worshipful Ward E. Pierce and worshipful David C. Mahaffy, Past Masters of the Lodge, C. Frank Woods and James Acker.
