Newspaper Obituary - Wednesday, July 12, 1916 Pulaski Democrat - Pulaski, New York - Prominent Farmer Passes Away - Seymour J. Fox, 58, a well-known resident of the town of Richland, died Monday morning at his home at Fox Corners, east of this village, following a surgical operation performed Sunday. Several weeks ago he underwent an operation for appendicitis and seemed to be on the road to recovery, having rallied and was about his farm. A second operation became necessary. Mr. Fox was born in Pulaski September 22, 1857, and had always lived in this town, for many years following the life of a farmer. He was a son of the late Justus D. Fox, and was a member of Pulaski Grange, No. 730, Patrons of Husbandry. Surviving besides the widow are two sons, Arnold B. Fox, living in Oregon, and Jay B. Fox of Mankato, Minnesota, and two daughters, Mrs. Frank W. Lane of Pulaski and Miss Gladys Fox, who lives at the Fox home. A sister, Mrs. Henry Tuttle lives at Lacona. The funeral will be held at one o'clock at the home and at two o'clock at the M. E. church, Saturday. Rev. A. P. Palmer officiating.
Newspaper Obituary - Wednesday, July 19, 1916 Pulaski Democrat - Pulaski, New York - Funeral of Seymour J. Fox - The funeral services for Seymour J. Fox, who died a week ago Monday, were held at the Methodist Church last Saturday afternoon. Rev. A. J. Palmer and Rev. Frederick Maunder, of Adams, a former pastor of the local M. E. church, officiating. Members of Pulaski Grange No. 730, of which Mr. Fox was a past master, attended. Burial was made in the Riverside Cemetery on the Rome road.
