Leona L. Muckey (Hendrickson), 72, of Brewerton, passed away peacefully on Saturday with her family by her side. She was the loving wife of the late Frank E. Muckey. She was predeceased by her great-granddaughter, Mariah; sisters, Betty Groat and Phyllis Armstrong; brothers, Jasper and Lawrence Hendrickson.
Leona is survived by her children, Cindy (Bob) Maret, Karen (Punky) Hart, Scott (Steve) Muckey, Eileen (Joel) Merritt and Frank Muckey; nine grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; siblings, Clara Darling, Mary Chapman and Walt Hendrickson; and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be private.
We invite all family and friends to the burial services in the spring at Union Settlement Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Joseph's Home Health Care or the American Cancer Society.
