    • Funeral Services Held For Mrs. Dillabough

      SANDY POND-Funeral services for Mrs. Maude Fox Dillabough pf Sandy Creek, who died December 3, 1953 at her home were held Sunday afternoon at the Weston and Woodard funeral home, the Rev. Leland W. Webster officiating. Burial was in Woodlawn cemetery. Bearers were A72e Robert Dillabough, Romulus Whisnaht, Leon Grandall and Hugh Allen.

      Mrs. Dillabough who has been in poor health: for a year, suffered a stroke about a week before her death.

      She was born October 26, 1880 at Union Square, near Richland, the daughter of Eif and Emma Frost Fox. She attended Richland schools and married James Dillabough, making her home at various times in Watertown, Richland and Sandy Creek, coming to Sandy Creek in 1920. Mrs. Dillabough was.a member of the Methodist church.

      Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Romulus (Emma) Whiflnant of the Lower Lake road, Miss Eva Dillabough of New York City; a son, William Dillabough of the Tapper Lake road and two sisters, Mrs. Millie Dundon of Watertown and. Mrs. Claude Wyman of Sandy Pond, and three grandsons, A/2c Robert Diilabpugh, A/2C James Dillabough of, Alaska, and David Dillabough of the Upper Lake road
