Charles M. LeRoy Sr., 38, of 9156 E. First St., died Tuesday evening at Oswego City Hospital, where he was taken after being stricken at home. An autopsy is being performed today by the Oswego County coroner.
There will be no funeral or calling hours. The body will be cremated.
Arrangements are with the Summerville Funeral Home.
Contributions may be made to the family.
Surviving are his wife, Viola A.; three sons, Charles Jr., Teddy and Shawn, all at home; two brothers, Michael and Kelly, both of California; and a half-brother, Vernon Himes, Virginia.
Born in Syracuse Jan. 4, 1950, a son of the late Ross and Theodora Spencer LeRoy, he was educated in Pulaski schools.
He married Viola Arnold March 28, 1968, at Pennellville.
The couple had lived in Richland until 1985, when they moved to Sandy Creek.
Mr. LeRoy was employed as a professional house painter, retiring in 1978 due to ill health.
