Husband of Ursula Maria Nelson Sampson.
Newspaper Obituary - Thursday, July 15, 1915 Post-Standard - Syracuse, New York - Civil War Veteran to be Buried To-day - Oswego, July 14 ¬The funeral of Emery L. Samson, 73, who died yesterday at his late home, 185 West Fifth street, will be held at 11 o'clock to-morrow morning. Rev. Dr. C. S. Savage, pastor of the West Baptist Church, will officiate. At 1:30 o'clock the body will be taken to Richland where burial will be made. A delegation from Oswego Lodge No. 127, F. and A.M., of which Mr. Samson was a member, will accompany the body, and Masonic services will be held at the cemetery. Mr. Samson was a Civil War veteran, being a member of the 110th New York Volunteer Regiment Members of J. D. O'Brien Post No. 56, G. A. R. will attend the services.
Newspaper Article - Friday, Marcy 22, 1918 Oswego Daily Palladium - Oswego, New York - Emery Samson's Estate - A final accounting in the estate of Emery L. Samson, late of this city, was filed today with Surrogate Miller by Edson E. Samson. The value of the estate was $2,623.82. The expenses of administration, etc., were $525.45 and the balance, $2,098.37 was paid over to Edson Samson.
