Newspaper Obituary - Wednesday, June 13, 1973 Pulaski Democrat - Pulaski, New York - Anna R. Poullos Dies in Watertown - Mrs. Anna R. Poullos. 89, formerly Of Maple Avenue, passed away May 30, 1973, at the House of Good Samaritan, Watertown, where she had been a patient two days. For the past four years, she had been a resident at the Evergreen Nursing Home, Pulaski. Born April 20, 1884, to Henry F. and Mary Petty Colvin in Wilkes-Bane, Pennsylvania, she attended school there. On January 14, 1914, she was married to the late Nicholas J. Poullos in Buffalo, coming to Pulaski in 1922. She and her husband owned and operated the Candy Kitchen from 1922 to 1929. Mr. Poullos passed away in October 1956. She was a member of Park United Methodist Church. Surviving are one son, Harry A. Poullos, Richland; two nieces, Mrs. Roy (Lillian) Sampson, Panama City, Florida; Mrs. Cecil (Pauline) Shepardson, Bergen, New York; and one nephew, Louis N. Nicholas, Stockbridge. Massachusetts. The funeral was 1:30 p.m. June 2,1973 at the Taylor-Vida Funeral Home, Pulaski with Rev. Jerry Miller, pastor of Pulaski Baptist Church, officiating: Burial was in Richland Cemetery, Richland
