      Newspaper Obituary - Saturday, May 29, 1976 Palladium Times - Oswego, New York - John E. Weed, 63, of Scenic Avenue in the Town of Mexico, died Friday evening at Oswego Hospital, He was born December 18, 1912 and had lived in this area most of his life. Mr. Weed was a forklift operator for Continental Can Company, having retired two years ago. He was a member of North Mexico United Methodist Church and Albeit Lodge of Oddfellows in Mexico. Surviving are his wife, the former Dorice Tousant; two sons, Nelson and Jerome, both of Mexico; one daughter, Donna Jean Tousant of Pulaski; two grandsons; two brothers, Ralph Weed of Colosse and William Weed of North Syracuse; and one sister, Mrs. Edith Petrie of Harrisville. Services at North Mexico United Methodist Church will be Tuesday at 11 a.m. the Rev. Walter Ames will officiate. Calling hours at the Harter-Olmstead Funeral Home in Mexico Sunday and Monday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Burial will be in South Richland Cemetery.
