at his
home
after
a
long
illness.
Mr.
Revoir
was a
life
resident
of the
town
of
Hastings.
He
retired
as a
sergeant
in
1968
after
17
years with
Oswego
County
Sheriff's
Department.
He was
in
charge
of the
first
navigation
patrol
in the
county.
For the
past
five
years,
he
was
employed
by
Cole
Muffler
Co.
An
Army veteran
of
World
War II, Mr.
Revoir
was a
past
commander
of
Fuller-Taylor
American
Legion
Post
and
was a
member
of the
Veterans
of
Foreign Wars
Post
in
Constantia.
He
also
was a
member
of the
Central
~
Tuare Fire Company.
^Surviving
are his
wife,
Ann;
MO
sons,
James
of
West
Monroe
and
Richard
of
Hastings;
a
daughter, Mrs.
•
Virginia
Root
of
West
Monroe;
a
stepdaughter,
Mrs. Judy Wigham
of
Hastings;
two
brothers,
Vernon
of
Brewerton
and
Herman
of
Hastings;
two
sisters,
Mrs.
Frances
Hand
:
and
Mrs. Helen Williams,
both
of
Fayetteville;
13
grandchildren,
and
several
nieces
and
nephews.
Services
were held
at the
Traub
Funeral home, Central
Square.
Burial
will
be in
West,
Monroe Cemetery.
Contributions
may be
made
to the
Southern
Oswego
Volunteer
Ambu-
lance
Corps.
