- EMMA R. KREBS, PULASKI FARMER, DIES AT 85 Show Details

Emma R. Krebs, 85, R.D. 1, Krebs Road, farm operator, died Saturday in the House of the Good Samaritan Hospital, Watertown, where she had been a patient for six weeks.
The funeral will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Foster-Hax Funeral Home, with the Rev. Virgil H. Hager officiating. Spring burial will be in South Richland Cemetery, Fernwood.
Calling hours will be Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home. Donations may be made to the Pulaski Ringgold Fire Department Building Fund, Lake Street, Pulaski.
Surviving are a son, Richard D., Pulaski; two daughters, Doris Tirabassi, Las Vegas, Nev., and Barbara Licourt, Pulaski; a sister, Elizabeth Rice, Lancaster, Pa.; 14 grandchildren, and 21 great-grandchildren.
She was born Aug. 24, 1904, in Rohrerstown, Pa., daughter of Phares and Susanna Sheirich Hertzler. She attended Rohrerstown District School.
She married Charles H. Krebs on Nov. 21, 1925. He died Oct. 23, 1988.
Mr. and Mrs. Krebs owned and operated a dairy and beef cattle farm for more than 50 years on the Krebs Road, where she had lived the past 60 years.
She was a member of the Silver Crest Rebekah Lodge, Mexico, the Fernwood United Methodist Church and was a Town of Richland Republican Committee member.
