Newspaper Obituary - Wednesday, May 12, 1909 Pulaski Democrat - Pulaski, New York - Richland - Mrs. Ursula Maria Sampson, wife of Emery L. Sampson, for many years gardener for the Kingsford's, died at the family home, 185 West Fifth street in Oswego, last Wednesday morning at 4 o'clock, after a long illness. Mrs. Sampson was born in Vermont nearly sixty-eight years ago, the daughter of the late Gardner T. Nelson. She had resided in Oswego for thirty years and had many warm friends who will sympathize with the family in their loss. The deceased was a member of the First Presbyterian church and was active in all its affairs, and was also a member of the Woman's Relief Corps. Surviving besides her husband is one son, Edson H. Sampson, of Cleveland, Ohio. The funeral was held, Friday, and interment at Richland. -Oswego Palladium, May 5.
