Perry, 77, Fernwood Dies - Long A Resident of Town of Richland - Was Justice of Peace 30 Years - Was Member of Town Board - Sudden Severe Shock of Paralysis Two Months Ago - Pulaski, February 1 - Lamont M. Perry, 77, for nearly 60 years engaged in business and farming at Fernwood, in the southern section of the town of Richland, died Monday night on the Perry farm near Fernwood. About two months ago he suffered a severe shock of paralysis, which caused his death. He was born April 9, 1849, on a farm near Fernwood and 19 years later moved on a place near by where he had lived since. Mr. Perry was a member of the town board of Richland, serving 30 years as justice of the peace up to the time of his death. He also was a member of the Methodist Episcopal church at Fernwood and of South Richland grange. His wife died in 1925. Surviving are a son, Ernest Ti Perry, who lives on the Perry farm, a daughter, Mrs. Melvin Hicks of Pulaski and two sisters, Mrs. Adelle Dunbar of Fernwood and Mrs. Mary Burdick of the town of Albion. Funeral arrangements are not yet complete.
