Newspaper Obituary - Monday March 11, 1963 The Post-Standard - Syracuse, New York - Pulaski - Raymond Ivens, 67, of Daysville, died Saturday evening at his home following a long illness. A native of Mexico, Mr. Ivens was the son of Mr. and Mrs. John Ivens. He had been employed for 20 years at the Selkirk Shores State Park maintenance department. A veteran of World War I who served with the 310th Infantry Forces in France, Mr. Ivens was a member of the Salmon River Barracks 149, the South Richland Grange and the Methodist Church. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Ruth M. Hilton Ivens; three daughters, Mrs. Allen Smith of Dempster, Mrs. Robert Zufelt of Syracuse and Miss Mildred Ivens; seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Services will be at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Taylor Funeral Home, the Rev. W. Russell Clark officiating. Burial will be in Daysville Cemetery in the spring. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home, Jefferson Street, Pulaski.
