Newspaper Obituary - Thursday, October 15, 1942 Pulaski Democrat - Pulaski, New York - Whitmore Funeral Services Sunday ¬Funeral services for Martin J. Whitmore, 84, who died early Thursday at the home of his granddaughter, Mrs. William Waterbury of Central Square, were held at 2 p.m. Saturday at the home of his son, Scott Whitmore, Rome street, Pulaski. Rev. W. A. Gardner officiated and burial was made in Willis cemetery. Mr. Whitmore, a resident of Pulaski since 1915, has been visiting at his granddaughter's home for the past few months. He was born in Rocky Ridge, Maryland, April 30, 1858 and spent the greater part of his life engaged in farming in Indiana before coming to Pulaski to make his home. He was a member of the Methodist Episcopal church. Surviving him are his son and granddaughter.
