- Newspaper Obituary - Thursday, March 1, 1888 Pulaski Democrat - Pulaski, New York - Albion Cross Roads - Abby, wife of Augustine C. Samson, died February 23d, at 11 o'clock p.m. The funeral was held at the residence, on Sunday the 26th inst. Eld. A. Barry, officiating. Mrs. Samson was a kind neighbor, and a devoted wife and mother. She leaves a husband, four children, and aged mother, and for brothers to mourn her loss. All that kind friends unwilling neighbors could do to soothe her afflictions were tried without avail. And now, as their hearts are overwhelmed with grief, they try to be reassigned to say: "Rest, patient sufferer, all is o'er."
