      Newspaper Obituary - Thursday, February 24, 1966 Palladium Times - Oswego, New York - Clarence I. Dodge, 77, of 7555 Church Street, died Wednesday afternoon after a short illness. He was born in Fly Creek, New York, on May 27, 1888, son of Clarence and Edith Potter Dodge. Educated in the Cooperstown schools, he served three years (1909-1912) in the U. S. Army. He retired in 1955 after 33 years with the New York Central Railroad, all the time with the St. Lawrence Division. His last station agent post was at Harrisville. On October 10, 1961, he married Mrs. Lura Callahan in Oswego. Mr. Dodge was a member of Mexico Lodge 135, F. & A. M. and a 40-year member of Mexico Chapter 135, RAM, and also of the Ziyara Temple, Utica. He also was a member of Pulaski Grange, New York City Y. M. C. A., the National Rifle Association and former member of Pulaski I. O. O. F. Lodge. Besides his wife he is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Perry (Helen) Thompson of Mexico, RD; a step-son, E. John Callahan of Pulaski, and two grandchildren. Services will be 3 p.m. Sunday at the Foster funeral home with burial in Daysville cemetery in the spring. Friends may call at the funeral home Friday 7 to 9 p.m. and Saturday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m., with Mason services 8 p.m. Saturday.
