Newspaper Obituary - Wednesday, September 27, 1972 Pulaski Democrat - Pulaski, New York - James T. Middleton Dies at Age 66 - On September 15, James Middleton died at the House of the Good Samaritan in Watertown where he had been a patient for 8 days. He was 66 years of age. James Middleton was born November 29, 1905, at Grafton Square in the Town of Parish. He was the son of Ernest and Lillian (Watkins) Middleton and he attended Town of Parish and Pulaski Schools. On February 14, 1928 Mr. Middleton married the former Gladys I. Dibble in Pulaski. Middleton was a plumber for 26 years, 14 years for Fred Mahaffy and 12 for Cobb's Motor Express. He was also a custodian and bus driver for Pulaski Academy and Central School. Middleton retired in August 1969. James Middleton was a member of the Pulaski Lodge 648 I.O.O.F. Salmon River Encampment. Middleton is survived by his wife and several nieces, nephews and cousins. The funeral was at 1 p.m. Tuesday, September 19 from the Foster-Hax Funeral Home with pastor Michael Ortel of the Seventh Day Adventist Church officiating. Burial was at Riverside Cemetery, Pulaski.
