      Newspaper Obituary - Friday, October 16, 2009 The Post-Standard - Syracuse, New York - Ella C. Webb, 98, a life resident of Fernwood, died Wednesday at Seneca Hill Manor, Volney. Ella was born February 25, 1911, in Richland, the daughter of Fred and Stella Reed Calkins She graduated from Pulaski Academy High School in 1926. She also attended Oswego Normal School. Ella married W. Lewis Webb on March 21, 1928; he died December 21, 1994. She was active in the Pulaski Wesleyan Church, where she taught Sunday school and was a pianist for many years. Ella was also an Avon representative, winning many sales awards. Surviving: one son, David R. Webb of Fernwood; three daughters, Marilyn H. Halsey of Mexico, Joyce A. Miller of Fernwood and Shirley J. Bellows of Lake City, Florida; 18 grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by two sons, Donald Webb, in 2002 and Jerry Webb, in 2005. Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Saturday at Foster-Hax Funeral Home, 52 Park Street, Pulaski, with burial in South Richland Cemetery, Fernwood. Calling hours will be held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., prior to the funeral. Donations may be made to Calvary Baptist Church 5353 Rte. 11, Pulaski, New York 13142.
