Newspaper Obituary - Wednesday, November 15, 1905 Pulaski Democrat - Pulaski, New York - Mrs. Chloe Pierce, aged seventy-nine years, died suddenly about two o'clock Saturday morning, the home of her son, Marshall Pierce, about two miles north of Richland, where she made her home. She had not been feeling well through the day Friday, but was not confined to her bed, and ate her supper as usual and retired. A short time before her death, the family was aroused by her groans and she died before a physician arrived. The coroner was notified, but on investigation pronounced death due to heart failure and did not deem an inquest necessary. The funeral was held at ten o'clock yesterday morning, burial, was made at West Sandy Creek.
