      Newspaper Obituary - Wednesday, January 7, 1931 Pulaski Democrat - Pulaski, New York - Richland Man Dies of Pneumonia - William H. Ames, 57, died at his home in Richland, Sunday night following an illness of but a few days of pneumonia. Mr. Ames was born in Richland, February 14, 1874, son of the late Horace and Abigail Ames. His entire life has been passed in the vicinity of his native place. For years he engaged in farming but late years he has been employed by the New York Central in the maintenance department at Richland. He was a member of the Railroad Brotherhood. He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Grace Moore Ames, and three daughters, Doris, Tressie and Avis, all of Richland. Funeral services will be held in the Disciples church in Richland at 2 p.m. this afternoon preceded by prayer at the home, Rev. Charles Hutchins officiating. Burial in Richland cemetery.
