Newspaper Obituary - Tuesday, February 19, 1946 Oswego Palladium Times - Oswego, New York - Pulaski - Funeral of Mrs. Flora Gumett, widow of Maurice Garnett, who died Sunday, will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at her home in Richland, Rev. Donald M. Cobb of Methodist church officiating. Burial will be in Richland cemetery. Mrs. Gurnett was a native of Richland and was born June 8, 1872 to Sylvester and Frances Hill Nelson. Survivors are two cousins, High Whitney of Pulaski and Harold Hill of Buffalo.
Newspaper Obituary - Thursday, February 21, 1946 Pulaski Democrat - Pulaski, New York - Richland - Mrs. Flora Gurnette, 73, widow of Maurice Gurnette, former New York Central official, died Sunday at the House of the Good Samaritan in Watertown following an operation on February 9. Mrs. Gurnette was born in Richland June 8, 1872 and was a daughter of Sylvester and Frances Hill Nelson. There are no immediate survivors. The funeral was held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at her late home in Richland, Rev. Donald M. Cobb officiating and burial in Richland cemetery.
