Mr. Scott worked for Blount Lumber Co. for 22 years. Born Aug. 26, 1938, in the town of Richland, son of Arthur and Anna Arnold Scott, he attended Pulaski schools. His first wife, Janet, died before him. He and his second wife, Coralie, were separated. Surviving besides his wife, of Pulaski, are a son, John Jr., Altmar; two daughters, Carolyn Steere, Altmar, and Deborah Martinez, Kelso, Wash.; a stepdaughter, Colleen Peterson, Vero Beach, Fla.; a brother, Henry, Richland; a sister, Ruth Trumble, Williamstown, and six grandchildren. The funeral will be at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday at Foster-Hax Funeral Home with the Rev. Marilyn Stevens officiating. Burial will be in Richland Cemetery. A calling hour will begin at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
