Newspaper Obituary - Monday, September 16, 1963 Palladium-Times - Oswego, New York - Syracuse - Walter G. Cooper, 55, of 214 Schaffer Avenue, died unexpectedly Friday in Largo, Florida. Born in Pulaski, Mr. Cooper was a resident of Syracuse for many years. For 21 years he was a driver for the Greyhound Bus Company. He was a member of Local 1201 of the AFLCIO, and Pulaski Lodge 415 F&AM. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Marion Homing Cooper; three sons, Edward H. Cooper of Colorado Springs, Colorado; Walter G. Cooper Jr., of Syracuse and Gary Cooper of Syracuse; a brother Donald of Bath; two grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Goddard and Crandall Funeral Home, 3111 James Street, with the Rev. William Sammons, pastor of the Emmanuel Baptist Church, officiating. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery, Pulaski. Calling hours will be 7 to 9 p.m tonight at the funeral home.
