Newspaper Obituary - Monday, February 22, 1937 Oswego Palladium Times - Oswego, New York - Lycoming, February 22 - Mrs. Cora S. Fleming, 77, widow of James Fleming, died Sunday afternoon at the home of her nephew, Glen Pettingill, New Haven. She was a native of Richland and had lived there most of her life. Her parents were Mr. and Mrs. Chester Hager. Surviving is one sister, Mrs. Ida H. Shannon, Demster, and the nephew. Funeral services will be held privately at the Pettingill home Tuesday at 2 p.m. Relatives are invited. Burial will be in Daysville.
Newspaper Obituary - Thursday February 25, 1937 Mexico Independent - Mexico, New York - Tollgate, February 22 - Mrs. Cora Hager Flemings, who was stricken in the home of Glen Pettingil some time ago, breathed her last on Sunday at 5 p.m. Last rites were held for her on Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock in the home where she passed away, Rev. Mr. Culp, a clergyman of Syracuse and friend of the family, officiating. And so the friends of Mrs. Flemings like many others, during the present season, were called upon to breathe a farewell, choked by a sob, as they laid their loved one to rest in Daysville cemetery.
