      Newspaper Obituary - Wednesday, February 20, 1901 Pulaski Democrat - Pulaski, New York - Mrs. Louisa A. Pierce - Mrs. Louisa A., wife of the late Benjamin Pierce, died at her home on Mill street, Friday morning, at one o'clock. She was ill but a week, with grip. Mrs. Pierce was born in Jaffrey, Vermont, in June 1819, and has been a resident of this place over thirty years. Mr. Pierce died about two years ago. The funeral was held from the home, Sunday at two o'clock. Mrs. Pierce is survived by two sons, Winslow, of Albion, and Ward E., of this village, and one daughter, Eva A. and a granddaughter, Miss Matie Pierce, who lived with her. In her early years Mrs. Pierce was a devoted church worker and has been a member of the Baptist Church of this village over thirty years.
