Newspaper Obituary - Tuesday, September 5, 1967 Palladium Times - Oswego, New York - Pulaski - Mrs. Grace D. Ames, 78, widow of Willie H. Ames, Town of Richland, died Sunday at Oswego Hospital where she had been a patient for the past ten days. Mrs. Ames was born September 7, 1888 in Pineville, daughter of Henry and Helen Blood Moore. She attended the Pineville schools and had resided in this area most of her life. She was a member of the Church of Christ in Richland. Mr. and Mrs. Ames were married November 14, 1906 at Richland and Mr. Ames died in 1932. Surviving are: Three daughters, Mrs. Charles (Doris) Obleman, Richland; Mrs. Wyman (Tressie) Haley, North Syracuse and Mrs. Kenneth (Avis) Hager, New Haven; four grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. at the Foster funeral home with burial in Richland cemetery. The Rev. Gene Kearns will officiate. Friends may call at the funeral home Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
