Newspaper Obituary - Monday, December 16, 1991 Watertown Daily Times - Watertown, New York - Virgil M Granger, Native of Richland Dies - Virgil M. Granger, 58, of Wolf Street, Syracuse, a native of Richland, died Saturday at Crouse Irving Memorial Hospital, Syracuse. Mr. Granger suffered kidney failure. The funeral will be at 11 am. Tuesday at the Foster-Hax Funeral Home, Pulaski. Burial will be in spring in Richland Cemetery. Calling hours will be from 10 to 11 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Surviving are two sons, Virgil Jr. and Michael, both of Syracuse; a daughter, Kathy Dunham, Syracuse; a granddaughter, three brothers, Robert, Richland, Glenn, Altmar, and Allen, Cazenovia; and three sisters, Florence Benway, Altmar, Joyce Changer, Constantia, and Fran Hazelwood, Niagara Falls. Born November 16, 1933, in Richland, son of Glenn and Floy Daniels Granger, Mr. Granger moved to Syracuse in 1951. He had been employed at Muench-Krewzer Candle Company and Marley's Recycling Shop. A marriage ended in divorce.
