    • Norma I. Tanner, age 78,resident of Parish, since 2005, formerly of Williamstown, passed away Thursday at the home of her daughter. Norma was born March 6, 1938 in Ricard, the daughter of Elywn and Louella Lyons Allen. She attended Altmar Schools. Norma was married to Norman J. Tanner on February 26, 1955 and he passed away November 16, 2001. She raised foster children for 10 years.

      Surviving are her companion Allen Smith, one son, Terry Tanner of Altmar, one daughter, Linda L. Seymour of Williamstown, one brother Harold Allen of Altmar, three sisters, Joyce Babcock of Mannsville, Lucille Johnson of Missouri, and Evelyn House of Williamstown, ten grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild. Norma was predeceased by one son, Timothy who passed away in 1985.

      Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Monday, February 6, at the Foster-Hax Funeral Home, 52 Park Street, Pulaski with a spring burial in Fairview Cemetery, Williamstown. Calling hours will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
