Douglas A. Dewispelare, 28, of Route 11, Hastings, died Sunday as a result of injuries suffered in an all-terrain vehicle accident in Hastings.
He was a life resident of Hastings. He was employed by the Hueber-Breuer Construction Co. of Syracuse as a laborer for the past four years.
Surviving are two daughters, Danielle and Heather, both of Pennellville; his parents, Kenneth and Patricia Watson Dewispelare of Hastings; two brothers, Philip and Daniel, both of Hastings; two sisters, Carlene Burgess of Merritt Island, Fla., and Hope Dewispelare of Hastings; his paternal grandmother, Ruth Dewispelare of Mallory; his maternal grandmother, Lillian Watson of Hastings; and several aunts, uncles, nephews and cousins.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Watson Funeral Home, Central Square. Burial will be in Pine Grove Cemetery, Mallory.
Calling hours will be 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home, 206 S. Main St.
Contributions may be made to the United Methodist Church of Central Square.
