Newspaper Obituary - Thursday, March 8, 1990 Watertown Daily Times - Watertown, New York - Shirley Granger, 57, Pulaski, Dies of Cancer ¬Shirley Granger, 57, of 7399 Scotch Grove Apartments, died Wednesday morning at home after a long illness. Miss Granger had been ill with cancer. The funeral will be at 9 am. Friday at the Foster-Hax Funeral Home, 7385 Park Street, with the Rev. Richard Clay officiating. Burial will be in Richland Cemetery. Calling hours will be from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home. She is survived by a daughter, Cheryl P. Granger, Pulaski; four brothers, Glen, Altmar, Robert, Richland, Virgil, Syracuse, and Allen, Cazenovia; three sisters, Florence Benway, Altmar, Frances Hazelwood, Niagara Falls, and Joyce Granger, Constantia, and several nieces and nephews. Born in Port Ontario June 18, 1932, daughter of Glen and Floy Daniels Granger, she attended Pulaski and Altmar schools and had lived in the Pulaski-Altmar area all her life. She was employed by General Electric, Syracuse, and previously by Spevak Industries, Syracuse.
