Newspaper Obituary - Thursday, July 22, 1943 Pulaski Democrat - Pulaski, New York - Mrs. S. J. Haley Dies At Richland Home - Mrs. Silas J. Haley of Richland died last Thursday morning at her home. Born in Appleton, Wisconsin, February 12, 1886, she was 57 at the time of her death. Since 1914 she had made her home in this area. Mrs. Haley had two sons and a daughter in the armed forces. She is survived by her husband; two daughters, Lt. Nora J. Haley, with the Army Marine Corps, 52nd General Hospital Unit now in England, and Mrs. It G. Blakeney of Syracuse; four sons, Corporal Clayton J. of Fort Bliss, Texas, Pvt. Richard of Miami Beach, Florida, Wyman, a resident of Dover, Delaware, and Elwyn, of Santa Rosa, California; also four grandchildren. Funeral services were held at the Haley home, Sunday.
