      Newspaper Obituary - Saturday, June 2, 1951 Oswego Palladium Times - Oswego, New York - Pulaski - Mrs. Rose Belle Bushnell, 79, widow of Alfred Bushnell, died suddenly at her home in Richland Friday afternoon. She had been in apparent good health up to Thursday night and had apparently arisen and was working around her kitchen after breakfast when she was suddenly stricken. A neighbor found her in the kitchen floor, apparently dead only a few moments. She was born in Richland December 28, 1871, daughter of Orrin and Mary Bumpus Sprague and always made her home in Richland and vicinity. She had been an attendant of the Richland Methodist church. She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Hiram Sloan, St. Johnsville; two sisters, Mrs. Delano Atkinson, Richland, and Mrs. Ellis Church, Fernwood; a brother, Herbert Sprague, Pulaski, and a grandson, Gerald Sloan, St. Johnsville. Funeral services will be held from her late home at 2 p.m. Sunday by the Rev. Kenneth L. Combs, pastor of the Methodist church, and burial will be in Willis Cemetery.
