- Newspaper Obituary - June 7, 1945 Pulaski Democrat - Pulaski, New York - Mrs. Walter Montondo Services Here - Mrs. Agnes Kelsey Montondo, 70, widow of Walter Montondo, died Saturday in the Crouse Irving hospital, Syracuse, after only a few days illness. Stricken with pneumonia early in the week, she was taken to the hospital. Mrs. Montondo was the daughter of Charles and Jennie Cole Kelsey and was born in Mannsville, December 23, 1874. Moving with her parents as a young girl, she had always made her home in Pulaski and vicinity. She was an attendant of the Methodist church and a member of the Pulaski grange. Surviving are one son, Clifford Montondo; two grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. Percy A. Ingersoll, all of Pulaski; a brother, Clarence Kelsey of Copenhagen, and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services were held on Tuesday at 2 p.m. at the Clifford Montondo home in the Fanner district by the Rev. J. N. Pauley. Burial was in Riverside cemetery, Pulaski. Bearers included Charles Ingersoll, Stanley Brown, Frank LeBeau, Lynn Morgan, Maurice Gates and John Wilder.
